Dr. Pouya Namiranian

Dr. Pouya is a first generation college-student who was born in Tehran, Iran and immigrated to the United States in 2009. Dr. Pouya attended University of California, Irvine (UCI) and earned his bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Business Management with a Magna Cum Laude honors. Next in his journey was moving from the sunny state of California to Boston, MA to attend Tuft University School of Dental Medicine and obtain his dental degree with a Cum Laude honors. While in dental school, he earned numerous scholarships to showcase his excellence in education and patient care. Dr. Pouya then moved back to California to further advance his dental education. He completed 4-years of rigorous residency training at UCSF Fresno Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery program in Fresno, CA. Throughout his residency, he had the opportunity to gain extensive training in full-scope Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Pouya prides himself in providing the utmost care to his patients with full transparency. His goal is to provide his patients with comprehensive and individualized care that focuses on their overall oral health and their comfort while undergoing treatment. 

On his free time, Dr. Pouya enjoys spending time with family and friends, taking his dog (Lily) on hikes, and learning about new cutting-edge technologies that can improve treatment outcome and patient’s comfort. Ask him about VR-assisted (virtual reality) sedation!
